Single Origin Filter Coffee Description

Patio Bonito is an 11-hectare coffee farm managed by Paola Trujillo and her family. Situated at 1570 meters above sea level in the Pescador municipality in northern Colombia, Paola is a dedicated specialty coffee producer.

Renowned for cultivating exceptional coffee, their offerings range from high-quality traditional varieties to remarkable exotics, including Castillo, Colombia, Bourbon, Typica, Gesha, and many others.

Paola credits her parents for shaping her journey: her mother, Maria Angela, instilled the importance of knowledge-sharing, while her father, Carlos, gave her the opportunity to work on their family’s coffee project. With a background in chemical engineering, Paola returned to the family business after her studies, inspired to contribute to the farm’s success.

She has mastered every stage of coffee production, from pre-harvest to post-harvest, and has dedicated herself to refining the quality and processes of their coffee. The entire family plays an active role, turning their efforts into a celebrated regional enterprise. Beyond her work on the farm, Paola offers training and courses for young people, inspiring the next generation to develop a passion for coffee cultivation and ensuring the industry’s legacy continues within their families.
