Larsen & Thompson's unique take on the world's most popular blended tea.
Originally developed in Scotland over 100 years ago, Breakfast Tea was popularised by Queen Victoria, who, having tasted it during a stay at Balmoral Castle, reportedly brought a personal supply back to London. English tea shops realised its potential and decided to rename and sell it as English Breakfast Tea, and it has been a tradition ever since.
Originally made with black Keemun tea from Anhui province in China, the recipe has varied over the years but Larsen & Thompson's Good Morning tea stays close to the classic.
Rich and golden in the cup, its floral undertones blend beautifully with milk to produce an aroma deliciously reminiscent of toast and honey. Made from top quality Assam, this hearty English Breakfast-style tea is rich and strong enough to replace your morning cup of coffee- or at least postpone it.
