Earl Grey

Now one of the world's most widely drunk teas, Earl Grey tea was originally named after Charles Grey, the second earl in his line and Prime Minister to King William IV in the early 19th century. The legend is that the Earl was given the recipe by a Chinese mandarin whose life he had saved.

Larsen & Thompson's Earl Grey is the perfect blend of rich Assam teas, flavoured and scented with oil squeezed from the rind of the bergamont orange, a fragrant citrus fruit native to southern Italy.

Universally popular and wonderfully versatile, Earl Grey is a bright and refreshing with or without milk or sugar and also makes a deliciously sweet and light iced tea.
