Big night last night - the first feature night at Arrivederci - 'Mozzarella & Co'. Hosts Alison and Anthony produced an enthralling evening and a journey into the stretched (and not so stretched) Italian tradition of cheese making. With Giorgio Linguanti stretching Burrata at our table, we feasted on eight courses of mozzarella (and co - which in this case was the ubiquitous ricotta) served in everyway imaginable. The favourite at our table was a tiny coffee cup made entirely out of a wafer thin sweet, crunchy pastry, filled with coffee zabaglione and sweet ricotta mouse, topped with chocolate coated coffee beans, magnificent.

Otto night delayed as Craig Hiron (the designer) has broken his shoulder skateboarding.
