 | There is something to be said for impressive equipment. In all industries, the right tools for the job, make the job so much easier. Likewise in the coffee industry (renowned for shortcuts) impressive (and I might add expensive) equipment can elevate a barista and coffee into orbit. All coffee geeks, while looking completely unphased on the outside, can't help but do a double take and some serious salivating when they wander past this place. We caught this shot of Kino - he arrived at work this morning feeling a little ...fragile... After discovering the Robur had been breeding over the weekend. Now there were three. Confronted by choice where does a barista start? Leon has taken his David Schomer books seriously and in peak times three grinders are doing a much nicer job of keeping his ground coffee cooler than his previously over-worked configuration with a single grinder. nice work. if you are in the South Melbourne Market follow your nose and check them out - the coffee is surreal. |
